Last night was the last CFC game of the season and we got a chance to play the DC United U23 team. We gave them a run for their money, and I had an absolute blast being out on the field. Although it was 95 degrees and hot as hell, we put together some quality play on the attacking side, and had plenty of chances to get on the scoreboard. Another end to another season. A few months ago I was deciding on playing for CFC or not, and I couldn't come to a conclusion...I finally decided to give it a shot, and I couldn't of been happier with my decision. I met some amazing friends, and can't wait to watch some of those guys in their college seasons. Soccer has always brought so many opportunities into my life, and this three month season did just that.
I just recently moved into my new apartment with a good friend from Clemson that I played soccer with. I'm used to moving, but this move was a little easier because I'm not actually moving cities; just stuff. Chattanooga has been incredible, LifeKraze has been everything I dreamed of, and my post-college-life has been quite an experience. The future always excites me, but these past few months have been beyond amazing.
The CFC season has come to an end, but with every ending there is a new beginning and I can't wait to see what the next season is.
