re[laxing], originally uploaded by michaelbrooksjr.
today I barely did anything and I decided that I wasn't going to let the whole day go to waste. So, right before dinner I decided to go for a quick run. I ran down the driveway at an exciting pace (I had so much energy that needed to be used)...once down the driveway I took a slight right and headed down keowee trail. After running a mere 20 steps, I felt this warmth, this was like I ran straight into a sea of energy. I took a quick glance to my left and off to the horizon the sun had a warm cast on the trees and was reflecting ever so perfectly on the water. I asked myself a quick question in my head...should I turn around to get my camera or just keep running? Knowing that in a matter of seconds that image I just saw would be gone, I decided I was going to try to make it back for my camera and catch that same moment I had just witnessed. As you can see in the picture, the sun had already hid behind the trees...but I still managed to capture that peaceful, relaxing feeling that this image shows and I'm glad I turned around. I hope you enjoy.
